Inclusion of a tag cloud on an electronic health record problems-oriented

    Get PDF
The documentation of care events is vital for patient care and is one of the factors that in uence the adoption of electronic medi- cal records by a health team. While the traditional registration technique is problem-oriented, it has one limitation: allowing only one relation be- tween problem and a clinical note; which in turn is re ected at the time of retrieving the information associated with each problem. This mod- elization fails to account that many problems have associated clinical notes and their description or evolutive progress may be related to a di erent problem. That is why we hypothesized a modi cation that al- lows physicians to write rst their clinical notes and then associate as many problems as necessary using labels. In turn, to improve interpre- tation of the problems we create a tag cloud where the most used are larger and vice versa, facilitating the record fetching task in cases where the associated information has labels. As a result of that, we observed that physicians received this modi cation with satisfaction, exibility in- creased when working with morbid patient loads, and the information inside their clinical notes became richer.

Multimodal biometric recording architecture for the exploitation of applications in the context of affective computing

    Get PDF
In affective computing, it is important to design techniques that allow devices to acquire emotional states. To create and test these techniques it is necessary to have datasets that have several modalities namely, keystroke dynamics, electroencephalography, facial expressions, voice tone, heart rate, among others. This article presents a multimodal dataset that allowed us to detect the subjectivity that subsists in certain modalities -as are the surveys-and that is often overlooked, against objective modalities such as keystroke dynamics and electroencephalography. This article presents the creation of an environment in order to acquire a multimodal dataset. Work has also been done on the analysis of brain waves and their correspondence with other modalities.IX Workshop Innovación en Sistemas de Software (WISS).Red de Universidades con Carreras en Informática (RedUNCI

Improving versatility in keystroke dynamic systems

    Get PDF
Keystroke dynamics is a biometric technique to identify users based on analyzing habitual rhythm patterns in the way they type. In order to implement this technique di erent algorithms to di erentiate an impostor from an authorized user were suggested. One of the most pre- cise method is the Mahalanobis distance which requires to calculate the covariance matrix with all that this implies: time processing and track each individual keystroke event. The hypothesis of this research was to nd an algorithm as good as Mahalanobis which does not require track every single keystroke event and improve, where possible, the process- ing time. To make an experimental comparison between Mahalanobis distance and euclidean normalized, a distance which only requires calcu- late the variance, an already studied dataset was used. The results were that use normalized euclidean distance is almost as good as Mahalanobis distance even in some cases could work better.WSI - II Workshop de seguridad informáticaRed de Universidades con Carreras en Informática (RedUNCI

Application of Keystroke Dynamics Modelling Techniques to Strengthen the User Identification in the Context of E-commerce

    Get PDF
Keystroke dynamics is a biometric technique to identify users based on analysing habitual rhythm patterns in their typing behaviour. In e-commerce, this technique brings benefits to both security and the analysis of patterns of consumer behaviour. This paper focuses on analysing the keystroke dynamics against an e-commerce site for personal identification. This paper is an empirical reinforcement of previous works, with data extracted from realistic conditions that are of most interest for the practical application of modelling keystroke dynamics in free texts. It was a collaborative work with one of the leading e-commerce companies in Latin America. Experimental results showed that it was possible to identify typists with an accuracy of 89% from a sampling of 300 randomly selected users just by reading comment field keystrokes.VII Workshop Seguridad Informática (WSI)Red de Universidades con Carreras en Informática (RedUNCI
